The movement
Lower by bending the standing knee until your glutes lightly tap the box, without fully sitting down, then drive back up through the heel.

Barbell box squat

The position
Stand in front of a box set to parallel-squat height, bar on your upper back, feet shoulder-width.
The movement

Kettlebell burpee

The position
Stand with a kettlebell on the floor in front of you, feet hip-width.
The movement
Bend down to grip the kettlebell, kick your feet back into a plank with hands on the handles, bring the feet back in, then stand up lifting the kettlebell.

Broad-jump burpee

Stand with feet hip-width, arms at your sides.
The movement
Perform a regular burpee, then replace the final vertical jump with a maximal broad jump forward, landing softly with bent knees.

Cossack squat

Stand with your feet much wider than shoulder-width, toes turned slightly out.
The movement
Shift your weight onto one leg by bending that knee and dropping your hips, the other leg staying straight with the foot flat, then rise and alternate.

Inhale on the way down, exhale as you stand back up.

Weighted backpack run

The position
Weighted backpack snugly fitted on your shoulders and waist, normal running posture.
The movement
Run at a steady pace, torso upright, without letting the pack pull your shoulders back or cause excessive arching.

Calf raise on leg press
